How
do I care for my cabinets?
PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW WATER TO STAND ON OR UNDER
ANY CABINET SURFACE OR DOORS.
Cabinet Box: All tops, side, bottoms and shelves of
your new Hanssem cabinets are finished in Bacteria resistant
Melamine, similar to those used in Medical Cabinets.
To clean, use warm water and a mild dish-soap. DO NOT
use Abrasive Cleaners.
Melamine/Laminate/Thermofoil or Painted Doors: To
clean use warm water and mild dish soap. Do not use
abrasive cleaners
Wood Doors: To clean use a damp cloth. Do not use OIL
SOAPS or ABRASIVE cleaners designed for cleaning wood.
These would damage the Top Coat and Sealer that is applied
on the doors in the Factory. Contact your dealer in
case of any damage to your cabinets for quick and efficient
service.

Why
is there color and grain variations in each wood door,
even though they belong to same model? In addition,
I think I see imperfections.
Wood doors are made from trees growing in different
environments and conditions. This results in the tree
having naturally varying grains and sap wood which is
a natural feature. In addition other imperfections such
as "burls, pecks, shakes, knots and mineral streaks“
also occur in natural woods.
