Senior Design Consultant

• Provide design consulting and gather information about space, themes and contents, timelines, budgets, materials, and other requirements for projects;
• Negotiate contracts and direct design planning procedures with customers and builders;
• Manage research projects of the kitchen and furniture design industry for designing and furnishing interior design environments to residential buildings while reporting results to the Parent Company and US headquarter;
• Analyze kitchen and furniture design industry in the United States, especially in the North Eastern region and identify the U.S. clients’ needs, goals, safety requirements, and lead the interior design marketing consultation to satisfy clients, which include customers as well as builders;
• Examine and approve selection of kitchen and bathroom decorative objects to be included in projects, such as cabinet, countertop, fixtures, tiles and hardware, in order to plan where and how to display them; Coordinate decoration activities to ensure that projects meet design, budgetary, and schedule requirements, and assign staff to complete design ideas;
• Manage project schedules and showroom and offices’ professional design staff by making recommendations and develop a systematic and coordinated methodology of the interior design process to integrate information into the creative process for creating the best interior environment;
• Develop analysis on the trends of the kitchen cabinet and furniture related products demand from season to season, types of merchandise ordered, range of sales price points for products according to demand and industry market rates, and other factors; Responsible for analyzing market prices, conditions, future marketing trends for the furniture related industry and monitoring design and materials research projects;

Requirements: Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture as well as at least 5 years of industry experience
